Bio
Erin was born and raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she first became interested in photography. She became interested in the small, beautiful, unexpected patterns that occur everywhere in daily life, amidst all the other chaos, and sought to express that through the lens of a camera. She also seeks to put a different spin on conventional scenes, or simply to make one take a long look at everyday things that one would normally pass over.
Erin spent an amazing four years in Flagstaff, Arizona while revelling in the Grand Canyon, the Southwest, and almost completing a photography minor and completing an Environmental Science BS at Northern Arizona University. After a brief stop in Northern California as a botanist, Erin now makes her home in the Illinois River Valley in Southern Oregon, and is staying busy squinting at madrone trees and trying to keep the fire going.
